Ever since I started jiujitsu more than twenty years ago, surrender has fascinated me. First in all the ways you can bring about surrender with fighting technique, and gradually in another way too. As a puzzle, as a gift. Surrender is often seen as defeat or loss. For me it is a positive, intuitive way of living.
As an assistant on tantra modules and retreats at Temple of Tantric Arts I am valued for a presence of strength and safety, which lets participants show themselves fully.
Jiu-jitsu, BJJ and grappling formed a solid base for my knowledge of the body, of anatomy and safety, and for the calm and self assurance that bodywork asks for.
In 2019 I came into contact with shibari and fell in love straight away with its beauty and with all the forms of deep connection it makes possible. I love the sensuality, the surrender and the healing work the sessions bring. It became a real passion and I went deeper through Ligatio, Duchy and a great deal of self study.
I learned that life gets easier when you can let go. Without meaning to, we can armour ourselves too much or hold on to control too tightly, and so close off the heart. Surrender frees you from those cages, so that loving feels safer.
I learn tantra with Swami Anahata, who works from kashmiri tantra. What I do in my workshops with breath, presence and surrender comes largely from his teaching. By now I also stand beside him in front of the group: we gave Awakened Masculinity together, a programme for men about direction and presence. With Martina Magdalena, another student from his line, I guide the four-day Tantra and Shibari, the path of trust and surrender, in Prague.
I keep doing that because it keeps my own work sharp. In it I am a small guide on a large path. What I am good at is helping you understand surrender, in your body. The rest of tantra I leave open for your own search.
How I work is on shibari and tantra, safety and consent and learning shibari.

It became clear early on that caring for others and contact with people were made for me. Over the years one of my strongest sides has also become one of my biggest pitfalls. The wish to really mean something to others stayed. I am sincere, warm, enthusiastic, driven, committed and eager to learn.
I love working with people. I am someone who bubbles with energy.
For a number of years I also often ran past myself. Like most people I have met my share of obstacles and crossroads in life.
I decided to study again and mapped out a range of courses. That was the start of my inner journey. I noticed that the strength is hidden inside myself, inside each of us. I went to work with who I really am, with new habits and new thoughts. Truly: I have never felt this happy.
I gladly bring all my experience into my coaching. Working abroad as an expat and living in another culture, running my own business in hospitality, going through life childless without choosing it. I know what it is to fall and get back up. The challenges on my path have made me who I am, and I choose again and again to say a full yes to life.
I still invest in my personal development. It is wonderful to see myself grow, personally and in relationship, and I wish that for you too.
In my free time I like being outdoors and active. Being creative matters to me too: handmade candles will soon be for sale through the webshop. And I can thoroughly enjoy a long table with friends.
