I do not work on my own. There are people I trust with what they do, with whom I give workshops, or to whom I refer someone looking for something I do not offer myself.
They are listed below, with what they do in their own words, and underneath what I have to say about it.
Art of Ropes
Discover the art of shibari at Art of Ropes. Our accessible workshops are designed so that you pick up the finer points of tying in no time. Whether you want to learn, refine your technique at one of our rope jams, or are looking for quality rope and supplies, you will find it all with us under one roof.
I have given workshops together with Pluisje and I like going to his rope jams in Deinze. His shibari craft and knowledge are exceptional.
Oshun Bodywork
Shibari and tantra invite couples into depth, trust and surrender. To truly enter that experience together, it helps if there is enough safety and connection first, both in the contact between you and within your own body. Some couples notice that this foundation is still fragile, or that old protective patterns get in the way of real closeness. At Oshun Bodywork, Sofie and Andreas guide them in a trauma-informed and body-oriented way. With attention for the nervous system, breathwork and somatic, relational exercises, they help couples rebuild safety, trust and attunement.
I therefore work with Sofie and Andreas regularly, and I am glad to refer couples to them when this foundation needs strengthening first.
Pure Soul
Philippe Bonny is an exceptional tantra masseur and a deeply grounded, embodied man I greatly enjoy working with. As a psychologist and trained tantra massage therapist, he brings a rare combination of expertise, calm and sincere attention to every session. What makes him special is the way he helps people reconnect with their body and stand firmly in life, always at their own pace.
I often do the shibari meets tantra workshops, massage edition, together with Philippe.
Christina Oud
Christina Oud is a workshop facilitator, yoga teacher and former Moulin Rouge dancer. For more than ten years she has been guiding retreats and workshops around body awareness, sexuality and breaking through taboos. She is the creator of Vulva Power and of the tantric massage workshop Turn On Your S.x, in which couples explore sensual connection and intimacy in a safe and playful way.
Christina combines a down to earth, humorous style with depth and ritual, and that is exactly why I like working with her so much. Her mission fits seamlessly with mine.
Martina Magdalena
Martina Magdalena works from the Czech Republic, where she guides tantra, tantric and TAO massage, women's circles, cacao ceremonies and shibari. She is a certified Pranic Healer and trained in Kashmiri tantric massage with Swami Anahata. She describes herself as a guide and a signpost, and works from reciprocity, harmony and balance to bring people back to their centre, their heart and their body.
Together with Martina I guide the workshop The Path of Trust and Surrender, where shibari and tantra meet around trust and surrender.
Tantra Tribe
TantraTribe is a conscious community where you can connect with others, discover local events and stay in touch with the communities and guides that inspire you.
I have been part of it for a while and I think it is a fine initiative for finding events and people around tantra. This link contains my referral code.
Looking for something yourself
If you would first like to know what I do myself, have a look at the workshops, the classes or the one to one sessions. And if you simply want to drop by, then the rope jam is the easiest way in.
