Shibari - "Surrender & Play"

On Saturday, 4 Januari, Michael Bentein invites you to a transformative day of Surrender through Shibari and  play night.

In this workshop, we invite you to discover the sweet space of surrender—both in its physical manifestation and emotional depth. 

Through the art of tantric surrender, we’ll use the sacred practices of rope and massage to deepen the connection and polarity between you and your partner.

Guided by the ancient wisdom of tantra and the artistry of shibari, we’ll take you on a journey of heightened pleasure, profound trust, and total surrender. 

 With each step, you’ll enhance your awareness and open to new dimensions of intimacy—physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. 💫

🌿 Surrender is a transformative process that requires immense trust—a trust that may be difficult for some, especially those with past wounds. In this trauma-sensitive workshop, we embrace vulnerability as a pathway to healing, cultivating deeper connections within ourselves and with others. Surrendering can be one of the most empowering gifts you give yourself. 🌸

💆‍♂️ Sofie Hugelier – Holistic coach, breathwork master and life-changing tantric massages.

🔗 Michael Bentein – A shibari expert, renowned for guiding individuals into deep stillness and surrender through his tantric practices.

What to bring:

• Ropes will be provided, though you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
• A sarong for massage exercises.
• Some oil (we will provide some if you don’t have any) and a big towel.

Important to know:

• You can choose the level of physical contact, whether with your partner or others.
• You are free to decide whether to participate or take a moment for yourself.
• Wear comfortable, yoga-like attire.
• The workshop allows space for sexual energy and light contact, though no genital penetration will occur.

Singles will be paired with a partner and included in our participant database.
